Terry’s passion for event design first began with the art of floristry. At a young age, Terry worked many summers in a flower shop allowing him to gain priceless insight into the floral industry. After many years in the floral business, Terry went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College-Chicago, majoring in Marketing Communication while taking additional design courses at the Art Institute of Chicago.

Terry realized his passion for the make believe while he was working at MGM’s Las Vegas show entitled ‘Jubilee’. This opened his eyes to the world of set design and he instantly fell in love with the awe and glamour that a production could create, down to the tiniest detail. This particular experience fueled his passion for design, bringing it to another level. Combining his floral design talent with his set production experience, Terry moved back to Chicago, opening his business now known as Terry Teske Design.

Terry specializes in floral/event design for weddings, corporate events and social parties; causing his business to flourish into one of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana’s most coveted design studios. Since then, Terry’s resume boasts hundreds of wedding and corporate events and has branched out into holiday decorating for both private and commercial spaces. One of his favorite career highlights was working on the set of ‘My Fair Wedding’, with wedding event planner to the stars, David Tutera.
